Shri Nagar of Bhahujan Samaj party has been elected to Lok Sabha from the newly carved out constituency Gautam Budh Nagar…which consists of Noida, Dadri, Jewar, Khurja and Sikendarabad Assembly Constituency…..As a person he is very simple, humble and down to earth.

Q Sir, Noida – Greater
Noida region has been buzz with all-round developmental activities. But, we are
eagerly waiting for Airport, Greater Noida Metro Project and Night Safari….
Would these become realities? If yes…which will come first?
A You see Night Safari is coming…Airport is our priority….People of this region have reposed faith in me…I will take up the issue with central government and also in the parliament from time to time... An efforts would be made to take metro to Greater Noida …and .by 2014 we propose to take it up to Jewar….for the benefit of rural people..…
Q Noida - Greater Noida region needs two polio
drops….electricity n security? What is your vision of uninterrupted power
supply and safer region?
A You see, since 1998 not a single power projects have come up in the state…there were governments of every political party…but now 2 major projects are scheduled for completetion…We propose to provide 23 hour electricity to Cities, 22 hour to Towns and 18 hours to villages from 2012....
Certainly security is priority of our UP government…. …every person living in this region should feel secure and safe…at this point of time we have shortage of police personnel..…due to political reasons…recruitments could not be made for a long time……..once these recruitments are made. Noida – Greater Noida will get adequate police strength ….mean while we are trying to rope in 250 police personnel from Railway Protection Force…and some home guards …..UP government is going to provide Rs 100 crore soon for police modernization. to the district.
Q In Noida – Greater Noida
thousands of plots have been allotted to the industries…but Some have established
their industries….how you propose to make them set up their units…so that more
employment opportunities are generated.
A You see the people who just want to invest the money have invested in the
industrial plots…actual investors has not come here…if there is any problem we
will have meeting with them and also
the industries associations here…if there are any issues involved ….we will
sort it out…But I feel that this should not only become an area of investors.
Q How will you bridge the disparity between urban and rural areas?
A Except Noida – Greater Noida all the area is rural…I do not hesitate to say that the even after the 61 years of Independence….there was no development of villages…Education is the big problem… but our government through Ambedkar Gram Vikas Yojana…we have made an effiort to make roads,,…Do visit the villages to see the development…we are making CC roads…providing electricity to every village …Villages would be provided the services at par with cities.
Q You were just talking about the education …how the government proposes to intervene in the school fee issue in Noida – Greater Noida?.
A You see already I have asked NOIDA Authority Officers to take steps…notices have been issued…those schools which do not follow the direction …which do not withdraw the unjustified fee hike…their lease deed will be cancelled.
Q Sir, How frequently you
plan to meet RWAs, Pradhans, Associations, Organizations
to hear their grievances?
A Definitely I would be in touch with organizations…but would prefer to sit
amongst the common people…and listen to their grievances, problems and will
strive to help them…Once in a week I intend to meet the people in the Assembly Constituencies
in my offices which I propose to setup soon. They can meet me at my residence in
Q What are the issues from
this region you have identified for raising in the Parliament?
A You see the farmers who have given their land for development is being given only one time compensation. He needs to be the beneficiary of the development…He should be able to reside on the plot of land in a sector developed on his land…His children should go to the schools/colleges established in the region. ..His children should get employment in the industries/companies in the area. To give benefits of development over and above the one time land compensation …central act of farmers compensation needs to be amended….I will strive to work towards this end.
Q What is your message to the residents of your
constituency?
A I am thankful to the voters of my constituency…during campaigning I had said…have faith in me… People have reposed faith in me…I would certainly rise to their expectations……
